PETER

I very much enjoyed painting this handsome and intelligent young man. I spent an afternoon taking the photographs for this portrait in order to discover (as much s possible in a short amount of time) different sides of him and to find out a little about his interests. He seemed to have a natural understanding of what I was looking for and was very willing to experiment with different poses. I chose this more thoughtful pose for the pastel but the more active poses would also make effective and accurate portraits of Peter.
